In preparation for the 2026 New England Shop Hop, which starts September 1st, I am making one of the patterns in the Shop Hop magazine. The fabrics that were designed for this event are beautiful. I have not prewashed them to preserve the crispness. This quilt top will be a shop sample for one of our local quilt stores participating on the Shop Hop, Island Creations by Louise
COMPLETED - Just in time!
This new shop sample top was completed during the last week in August. Just in time for the start of the New England Shop Hop. There were so very many pieces for the anchor and a few measurement errors in the pattern but everything went together well in the end. The quilt will hang in the window of Island Creations By Louise in West Greenwich, R.I. The top was long armed by Paul at the shop with a wonderful anchor pattern. I added the binding when it was completed.
All this was completed while puppy sitting Capri! She was great company!
