August 23, 2014 - The rush was on. Once we decided to participate in the Row by Row Experience, we had just one week left to collect the quilt patterns. But of course we had plenty of time to complete the quilt by the Halloween dead line. Before we knew it, it was October and a collaboration was needed to get this done. Hours and hours later, the quilt was finished with four whole days to spare -- thanks Peggy! But, alas, we just missed the prize. Next year we have vowed to start much earlier!
We really did have fun trying to figure out the paper piecing - I certainly need more practice.
The participating shops that we visited in our area are:
and our favorite local quilt shop,
Folk Art Quilts. Our quilt is currently at Folk Art Quilts, so if you are in Wakefield, stop in for a visit and a bit of shopping. You won't be disappointed with their wonderful selection of fabrics.

You've done a wonderful job with your quilt. I was in a Row Robin once and that was fun. It's nice to approach quilt patterns differently from time to time.
ReplyDeleteThanks! It really was fun to see the rows finally completed and how we were going to put it all together. Amazing how two totally separate stashes turned out to be so similar.
