2017 Finish-A-Long , 3rd Quarter

 I have yet to finish a quilt in a while. I thought I would add a few of the unfinished quilts 

to the 3rd Quarter of the 2017 Finish-A-Long. 

1) Bonnie Hunter's Mystery Quilt - I've forgotten the year. . .  

 2) Kaffe Fassett's Quilt - I've forgotten the book

 3) Bonnie Hunter's Mystery Quilt - 2016

 

4)  Amanda Jean's Quilt Pattern - from her book Sunday Morning Quilts. 

There are still lots of pieces to cut, place, and sew.

I am hoping to finish at least a couple of these. 

The September  show at the South County Museum is just around the corner.

More Mug Mats

I have had a chance to work on a small project. 

These are mug mats for the 2018 NBQA Quilt show.

 

 And I had the chance to finish this painting. It is a study of a Bearded Iris. Taken from the book "Smithsonian: The Botanical Palette". I wanted to work on color and layers but ended up with an opaque and muddy rendition.
